Default Large Mail

Using Outlook 2003. When I send an e-mail with a large
attachment, ie...a graphic file or large spreadsheet,
Outlook acts as if it is sending the item. However most
times it takes quite a long time ("sending 1 of 1") but
the item remins in the Outbox and Large Mail folders
after the send appears to be complete. On several
occasions, my recipients have said they received multiple
copies of the email...most likely because I have hit SEND
a number of times thinking the item DID NOT go the first
time.

I've disabled McAfee outgoing mail scan.

Any thoughts on a cure?

THanks!

it's generally caused by the email scanner... do you also have a firewall or
router?
