Default Log axes

On a log scale, Excel will not let me put maximum or
minimum chart axis values other than 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10 etc..
My data range is small: 0.950-1.050 making any work with a
log-scale between 0.1 to 10 a pig to see.

Any solutions?

Cheers

With such a small range, there is not much difference between log and linear
scales. There is a solution, although it's a little more complex than
setting the appropriate checkboxes . Try the following link:

Joe -

Tushar Mehta has a tutorial showing how to customize your log axis scale
parameters, at http://tushar-mehta.com.
