my printer prints with diferent margins
I have just installed my «old» hp printer 840C on my latpop, and since the
installation CD didn't work, I had to get the driver(??) from the net. I am not sure I installed it correctly since the pages don't show the same margin (the white at the end of the document is much bigger). Can anyone help me? thank you |

Windows has its own driver for the HP640C. Use that for preference.
Invetitably there will be differences between drivers, but the error you mention is a known problem with HP printers and corrective drivers for some printers are available at http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/. See if yours is listed. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org IVF wrote: I have just installed my «old» hp printer 840C on my latpop, and since the installation CD didn't work, I had to get the driver(??) from the net.
