How should I save a document that is just one big banner page to .
I want to print a 17" x NN" page. I don't have such a printer so I want to
save my Word file to take to an office service company that can print it. However, when I configure the Word document, the Word program won't show me print preview because the program assumes I want to use my local printer and the program displays a message saying that "the margins are outside the printable area". How do others handle this? |

Word will *only* create pages up to 22" square and even then only if the
current printer driver is capable of printing such a size. There is no way to make Word create continuous banner documents. Use Publisher or one of the banner utilities you can find by searching the internet. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org RealCav wrote: I want to print a 17" x NN" page. Install a printer driver for the printer that will print the document and
set that for your document. My recollection, though, is Word is still not going to allow you an unlimited size page. There are a number of programs out there for printing banners, but Word isn't one of them. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
