Send and Recive, hangs
PLEASE HELP ME:
I am using outlook 2003 with Windows XP Pro. SR2 with all updates in place MY problem; SENT ITEMS get JAMMED in the send and receive cycle and prevent me from sending or receiving any thing new. After a long try time, 10-30 minutes the outlook closes the send process or the server hangs up This happiness VERY OFTEN without any predictable pattern. It may happen on a new message or a reply. It may happen on a simple on line text or a message with attachment or pictures. The solution that works, most times but not always, is to close outlook, reopen it, drag the message form the outbox to draft folder, reopen the message, click resend then click send/ Receive. Then it may go OR get jammed again. This has been happening for several months. Last week I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled office with all updates. I had hoped that this may fix my problem. But, NO LUCK. Can you please help me?

What is the polling interval set to?

Please note, my send and recive is NOT set for automtic or scheduled send and
recived. I send and recive ONLY by clidcking the send and revcive button. would the polling interval affect this I changed them to 11 Minutes any way. "DL" wrote: What is the polling interval set to? Polling is used in the auto send/receive, if you have that ticked
