all links disappear when refresh
In Org chart -Lost refresh functionality-all links are removed and under
conflict resolution section. Refresh worked fine previously. Org chart based on external data. What could be different?Add columns in external database, could this be a problem? Anyway to re-link without going through the 20 tabs I established individually? Previous post mentioned that mgr/subordinate relationship lost. |

Wow! You're having lots of fun.
Do you have a copy that works? "Ginger" wrote: In Org chart -Lost refresh functionality-all links are removed and under conflict resolution section. Refresh worked fine previously. My inclination it's your external data file. You never said if the problem
begins after you edit the data file. My recommendation would be start with a small test case. Generate your normal file. Verify that everything is OK. Then edit the file like you've been doing, and check to see if your connectivity problem shows up. Since no one else is jumping in at this point, I'm assuming that there aren't any better suggestions or solutions then what have already been mentioned. "WapperDude" wrote: Wow! my experience is that if you alter the format of the linked record, or the
shape data associated with it, the linking between the record and the shape is broken. To make it more interesting, I've never seen an error message associated with it and data refresh also fails on the record (a given since the association appears to have been broken). This was about a year plus ago. Short answer 'appears to be normal'. al "WapperDude" wrote in message ... My inclination it's your external data file.
