OE lost emails - overwritten in Store Folder
I'm using OE (with XP Pro)
I was changing the message store folder and accidentally overwrote / deleted the message Store Folder contents [accidentally pressed NO - and it deleted all my emails and replaced them with the default intro email and basic inbox outbox sentbox etc etc] Help! Is there anyway I can find those overwritten many many emails in HDD ... Windows Explorer can't see them... |

You need to create the new store folder before telling OE to move the folders, otherwise you risk losing everything. http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/how.htm#movestore You can try searching for *.dbx and if you find the missing folders, import them back. If the files were overwritten, then the only thing I know that might get =
