Default Drop down box

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help with this question:
I have a worksheet that, using the INDIRECT function takes information
from a specific cell on another sheet. The INDIRECT function references
to a cell which includes a Month and Year, for Example "April 2004",
and then takes the value in cell A10 of April 2004 etc.
What I want is to create a drop down box in the cell containing the
month and year so that instead of having to type April 2004 it takes
the value from a list.

Is this possible. Any and all help appreciated.

Thanks

Scott.

One way is through validation. MVP Debra Dalgleish has
some nice instructions on using validation:
