Default My Memo fields only accept 255 characters - Why - they are memo f.

I have a memo field in a database, and when I add more than 255 characters
they go in and soon as I do something else the characters over 255 disappear
from the field. The first 255 stay there but the rest are gone. Is there an
explanation for this please?

Regards

Do you have a value in the Format property of the text box?

Remove it. Formats will not allow displaying more than 255 characters.
Besides ALL CAPS IS SO DIFFICULT TO READ!
