How to get full address in "To" using first few letters of name
At one time, I was able to automatically get the full email address
automatically entered in the "To' line after entering just the first few letters of the contact name. Now this only happens when I send another message to the same person I previously sent. How can I get this to work for all contacts? |

Autocompletion has never used your Contacts. It only uses a cache of
previous recipients. -- Russ Valentine "bobengel" wrote in message news At one time, I was able to automatically get the full email address automatically entered in the "To' line after entering just the first few letters of the contact name. If you want Outlook to search your Contacts, you would use autoresolution
(hit Ctrl-K after typing a partial address you think should match), not autocompletion. -- Russ Valentine "bobengel" wrote in message news At one time, I was able to automatically get the full email address automatically entered in the "To' line after entering just the first few letters of the contact name.
