Inserting video for an .mht newsletter
Is it possible to insert a video clip into a Publisher file, generate an .mht
and then send the .mht as a newsletter? I know you can link to video for a website, but I am wondering what happens if you try to compile it to an .mht and you aren't linking to an actual server. |

Inserting video for an .mht newsletter
I doubt if you could get it to work correctly, and even if you could it
wouldn't be a good idea in my opinion. The file size would be way too large for an email message even for those who have a broadband connection. And people who use a dial-up connection would end up cursing you as they waited and waited for the message to download. People with a high speed connection tend to forget that it can take 5 minutes or more per megabyte for those people getting by with a dial-up connection. Your video clip is likely to be many megs in size. Better to just link to the video file and give the option of downloading it or not. DavidF "Karena" wrote in message ...
