I have 2 spread sheets, 1 has current part numbers (including old #s we do
not use any more) & currect inventory counts. The 2nd spread sheet, we removed all old part numbers we no longer want in the system. During the time it took to do this inventory values have changed. What I would like to do is to merge our new part number list with current inventory list. Any ideas? |

I would use a helper column on the 2nd sheet with VLOOKUP formulas in it to
retrieve the current inventory numbers from the 1st sheet. Then they can be reviewed, and if approved, replace the obsolete inventory numbers on the 2nd sheet.
