Default Trouble Publishing Visio to Share Point

Does anyone know why you cannot publish a Visio Diagram saved as a web page to Share Point? You can open the web page just fine with a browser, but when you upload it to Share Point, then try to open it , you get a page cannot be found.

Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated.

Default Trouble Publishing Visio to Share Point

Hello,

I have published a visio file in HTML format (file - save as web page) successfully into Sharepoint and the issue is not
reproducible. Make sure to publish the following into the site:

1. visiofilename.htm
2. visiofilename_files folder with all its subfolders/files.

Also, make sure that you have all the permissions. If you face the problem still you follow the procedures mentioned
above, please let me know the following:
What is the s/w used for publishing? Have you found all the files of the visio drawing in the site properly?

Regards,

Default Trouble Publishing Visio to Share Point

Helo Ken,

If you select "Save as Web page" option in Visio, it will create two things:

1. A .htm file (filename.htm)

2. A folder with a number of files; that folder name will be filename_files

You have to upload the file as well as its folder(+ its files). Hope this will help you.
