Default Word printing blank document

I am having trouble printing while in Word XP. Word is printing a blank document for any file opened. Printer seems to be ok, printing is fine from other programs such as internet explorer. Any suggestions?

Default Word printing blank document- dumb suggestions

I would first make sure that the text is not white. Then I might restart my machine. If that does not work, I might reload my printer driver (check the printer mfg websitedownloads). If you need to print a document right away, you might consider printing to PDF. Check over your assumptions (other programs work fine). Did someone else just change the print cartridge after you printed from another program? Is the tape over the ink supply?
