Advance to next slide on click (PP 2003)
I have slide #1 with a text box and a couple of graphics where they are
grouped. Slide #2 also has a text box. Both have the same background and some duplicated text boxes. I want to fade the grouped objects in slide #1, then advance to slide #2 where the text box fades in. Both slides are set to advance slide "On mouse click". The objects to fade in and fade out on both slides are set with custom animation as 1) Entrance as Fade (Start: with previous) and 2) Exit as Fade (Start: after previous). When I click after reading the text box, it fades as expected. But it does not advance to the next slide until I click again. It seems that I should have to click only once. I suspect there is some probability I got something wrong. Can you suggest what I should do to undo the mess I made? Seriously, many thanks. |

Thank you, John. I will give this a try -- seems pretty neat.

Yes, John, this works quite well. However, I would add that you say "create
the duplicate slide BEFORE adding any animations". Well, that may be best, but since I had already completed all slides and animations, I tried creating the duplicate slide and then REMOVEd the last animation in the original slide and all but the last in the duplicate slide. This works just as well. Again, many thanks to you. "John Wilson" wrote: If you have click animations you will always need a click to move to the next slide. Yep
That would have the same effect.
