Reserved error (-1524)
I have Access 2007. I am running a query created in an Access 2000 (mdb
file) database. This query is pulling results from multiple queries. I get this "Reserved error (-1524)" and when I click on Help it simply states "there is no message for this error. (Error 3000)" I'm not sure how I should start troubleshooting for this error. Would you have any suggestions? Thank you! |

Do the queries that this query depend on run by themselves?

Hi RuralGuy,
I just ran each of the subqueries. Yes, they all run by themselves. The query I am running is based on a dozen queries with a left join to one query. In other words, Query1 LEFT JOIN to Query2, Query3, Query4, Query5, etc.... Could it be an issue with the joins? |

I found a reference to that error where the problem seemed to be a corrupt
record in one of the tables. Good luck pinning down that sort of problem. Maybe creating a new db and importing the tables one at a time and see if you can get the same error. That might pin it down to a particular table. KrispyData wrote: Hi RuralGuy, I just ran each of the subqueries. Yes, they all run by themselves.
