Default Word 03 - heading is coming up at 4.5 inches in new documents.

I don't know what I did, but now when I open a new Word 03 document, the
curser is at about 4 and 1/2 inches down the page. When I go to
view-headers-footers, the header is HUGE, but it won't let me delete, resize
or anything. I have tried page set up and tried to set things back to
default.

Help.

If not, I think I will need to deinstall and reinstall the program.

In Word, click on File | Page Setup | Layout | Vertical
alignment: Top | OK.
