Question PowerPoint played through laptop displays incorrect colors

My boss has told me that when he plays some PowerPoint presentations that I have made, through his projector- that the colors come up completely wrong. I am using PPT 2003. He says reds show up green, just totally wrong.

I have read that it could be the laptop, the projector, chords or a variety of things. Does anyone have some input on how/where to start troubleshooting this, or does anyone have a solution?

Your help is much appreciated, as I am tired of listening to my boss complain about this over and over...
