Default Finding lowest price

I'm hoping someone can help me with a formula that will determine from
4 non-consective columns, ie, F,H,J,L, the lowest price of the four
and place the ranking '1-4 lowest to highest' in the column
preceeding. E,G,I,T.

I'm looking to rank the bid prices from 4 vendors 1-4 for each food
item placed on bid. We are required to take the lowest bid when
ordering these food items (school cafeteria). Their bid prices are in
cols F,H,J,L under their column headings, Garner, Quality, Sysco,
Tankersley. The food items are in Column A2:A700.

I'd really appreciate any input.

Rank function returns the rank of a number in a list of numbers.

But this function fails to function when the value are in between (as
required by you non consecutive coloumns)
