Default how do i save a publisher file as read only so no one can chan

Assuming they could read it (i.e a pdf or jpg) it is simple.
save and exit Publisher: select the file (in Windows Exploder), right click, properties. Then check the box that says read only.

If they don't have Publisher, the recipients can't even open the file. ;-)

It isn't complicated to send a PDF file. If I receive a read only file, I
immediately clear the read only option. Morisot gave you the best advice.

If your recipients do not have the Publisher program, they cannot edit the
document.

Hi-

If you have a PDF program - save a copy as a PDF and send that.

thanks but that sounds a little complicated - why can't i use the
read-only
option????

Open a new Publisher file with the same size page as your original and
with
as many pages as your original.

In your original file, Select AllCopy a page (or pair of facing
pages.).

In the new file, Paste SPECIAL as PICTURE onto the new page.

You will have to do this procedure for each page (or facing pair.)

(DO NOT get rid of or delete your original file because you cannot edit
the
"picture" copy!)
