how do i save a publisher file as read only so no one can chan
Assuming they could read it (i.e a pdf or jpg) it is simple.
save and exit Publisher: select the file (in Windows Exploder), right click, properties. Then check the box that says read only. If they don't have Publisher, the recipients can't even open the file. ;-) -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] ~~~~~ How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "Mary Sauer" wrote in message ... Open a new Publisher file with the same size page as your original and with as many pages as your original. In your original file, Select AllCopy a page (or pair of facing pages.). In the new file, Paste SPECIAL as PICTURE onto the new page. You will have to do this procedure for each page (or facing pair.) (DO NOT get rid of or delete your original file because you cannot edit the "picture" copy!) M.
