Catalog merge printing problem

My catalog merge (address labels, avery 8160) is printing an entire page of
labels of the same record (just like the print preview shows it will). From
what I've read, it should be printing each record in it's own label area
once, and not 30 times. Can anyone give me suggestions?

How are you setting up your labels? You must use mail merge when doing labels,
not catalog merge.

You can only have one label on your screen when you do a merge.

Thank you for telling me the obvious. I interpreted the mail merge's "enter
records one by one" to mean I would have to manually type them.... which
absolutely wasn't the case!!!!
