How do I lock a column in Word 2002
Have you inserted a column break (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) between columns 1 and 2?
Note that this will not prevent column 1 from overflowing into column 2 and bumping it to column 3 (if any, or column 1 on the next page). If you want column 1 text to flow around column 2, then you need to use either text boxes or a table depending on how many columns you have. -- Suzanne S.
