opening errors - multiple screen
For the past three months I have been experiencing problems with Outlook
Express. It appears to open multiple screens in a blink of an eye and then hangs finally displaying a message ' not responding'. It take multiple shut down commands before I can get back to the start page and then repeats in the same way, The settings for my email addresses getvrandomly corrupted as well. I have tried the various resets and reinstallation commands ( which have improved speed elsewher ) but the problem remains. Can anyone suggest a remedy? I run XP home and there is adequate memory and disk space. Norton reports no problems. TIA Pete Pendleton |

TIA Pete Pendleton Norton is not reporting any problems, good, I'm 99% certain that Norton /Is Causing/ the problem. Disable email scanning in Norton, it serves no useful purpose and is known to cause similar problems, like changing your server name to 127.0.0.1? -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] |
