Multiple POP accounts - linked???
I have a recurring problem with setting up multiple POP3
accounts. All of the accounts have the same incoming and outgoing POP3 servers but for some reason they seem to be 'linking each other together'. By this I mean that when I update one of the account's settings, both that account and another get their options reset. I am sure it is not supposed to work that way. Any suggestions on how to fix this? (Please do not suggest a new install - I just did that.) thnx |

Be sure to change the "friendly name" for each of your accounts. The default friendly name is the server so if you have multiple accounts on the same server, Outlook thinks it's changing the same account.
When you create or change an account, you should always click the "More Settings" button and change the account nae on the General tab. -- Athena "Anyonmouse" wrote: I have a recurring problem with setting up multiple POP3 accounts.
