Default Outlook 2003 - home use - permissions error

I set up my email account as POP3 for gmail. I am able to set up new folders
but can't move any emails into them. The error is: Can't copy the items. You
don't have permission to create an entry in this folder.

It then tells me to right click on the folder and go to properties. When I
go there, everything except how I want to view my mail is grayed out.

I am the administrator on my computer and have never experienced anything
such as this before.

Can someone help me?

Thank you in advance!
