Default fax with ADSL setup

Since getting ADSL installed & changing my fax number I
can't seem to use MS Fax, I have detailed below what was
setup when I was able to use MS Fax, & what is now setup:

Then
bigpond dial up connection
peer-to-peer network

Now
ADSL - wireless ADSL Router DSL-604+
Central Filter DSL-10CF
the two computers are networked through the router
changed fax number (have amended in Sender Info)

I have removed the fax & re-installed, but no joy.
Any advise would be most welcome.
Cheers!

Sending a fax by DSL requires one of two methods:

1. You obtain a DSL line filter suitable for connecting a standard voice
telephone to the DSL line, then connect a regular analog fax modem to the
line through the line filter. Your DSL provider has these filters, as does
your local Radio Shack sto

2. You hire an Internet E-faxing service:

Default fax with ADSL setup

Sorry I don't think I explained myself fully. I have a
fax machine which has an inline filter, there is no
problem with me using the fax machine direct, however I
want to be able to access it through the computer, which
I was able to do before I got ADSL installed.

May I take from what you said that you have a standard, analog fax modem in
your computer attached to the DSL line through the same type inline filter
as the Fax machine uses? If so, what happens when you try to send a fax
from the PC?
