Default default properties shapes and connector lines

Hi,

How can I permanently change the default properties for connector lines and
for shapes? Specifically, I would like for all connector lines to be rounded
by 0.125 in. and for all shapes that are dragged onto the drawing space to
have a specific fill color. Right now, I need to change the properties
manually in every instance.

Thanks!

The best way is to amend the master that you are using.
Most masters can be altered before the are used, however the Dynamic
Connector is ceated when you use the connector tool. So, the trick is to
use it once in your template, then delete the line you drew, open the
document stencil, and edit the Dynamic Connector that is there. Then save
your template, and whenever you base a drawing on that template, it wil use
your variant of the Dynamic Connector.
