Default Page Deletion

downloaded a word brochure template from the MS Office website. I find that I
cannot delete the second page. The page had a number of text boxes and
images. I have been able to 'cut' them but the white page remains. I see no
way to save this document with the first page only.
-I have tried to hold the delete key at the top left of the second page
-Right click show no cut or delete option
