I guess removing Newsgroup support would surpass that! And also
not supporting IE9 on Windows XP would give rivals an excellent opportunity to catch up! hth Greg Russell wrote: M$ Vista was named as one of "The Top Ten Technological Disasters of the 21st Century" (so far, at least) in a recent Yahoo! news article, voted as such by the overwhelming majority of computing and technology news editors in the world that contributed to the vote. -- THE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Bob I typed: so we have a limited time to insult vista ..... M$ Vista was named as one of "The Top Ten Technological Disasters of the 21st Century" ... http://.../the-top-10-it-disasters-of-all-time/... The 21st century most certainly doesn't comprise the sum totat of time, even in technological terms. |

it's a miracle that they were actually able to take that buggy horrible code
and streamline it enough to make windows7 actually usable! Of course it needed more effort and man hours that building the great pyramid but they were under the whip of Balmer... "Frank Drew Leyda" wrote in message ... Why less spam and easier to find....... ? Well for one thing Google indexes it with its web search, so now you won't need to know about Google Groups to search archived threads. What do they mean by a "clean space" ? It's expected to be more moderated than MS newsgroups were. |

Don't know about propaganda, but I posted THREE responses to the same post with a website containing a solution to a question on whether it was possible to install an Upgrade version of Windows 7 without a qualifying version of Windows being present and ALL THREE were deleted arbitrarily by a certain "MVP" "Moderator".... |

Seems that "solution" would be implicitly promoting a violation of the licensing agreement. I don't think that constitutes "arbitrary", does it? |

"Bob I" wrote in message ... Seems that "solution" would be implicitly promoting a violation of the licensing agreement. So it may . That's a very grey area. Surely it was firstly up to the Op to use his/her conscience, and secondly, but most importantly the "mvp moderator" should have posted REASONS why it possibly violated the licensing agreement - and not just arbitrarily delete posts..... |
