Default ical events in outlook 2003

I can't seem to accept an imac ical event in outlook 2003, I am using the latest software from both apple and microsoft, when I open the event in outlook the accept buttons are grayed out. Any suggestions?

I've seen some problems with Outlook not handling Mac-originated iCal items
that contain a VTIMEZONE element. You might want to post the contents of the
iCal item so other people can try it.
