Default Installation Problems

I bought the Power Point software and can't get it
installed. After I enter my user name and product key
number, I get an error message saying "failed to locate a
valid qualifying product. Select a drive where a
qualifying product can be found." I tried out various
drives but nothing seems to work. I'd appreciate any help.

Sounds like you bought the "upgrade" version and Microsoft can't find a
qualifying product on your computer to upgrade from. You will need to take
back the software and buy the "full" package.
