why? - Ctrl+ F11 and sheet names
Why when i use ctrl + F11 to insert a worksheet does it call the worksheet
"Macro 1", "Macro 2" etc instead of Sheet x ... ? just wondering Regards JulieD

Shift + F11 inserts a worksheet

You're inserting an XL4M Macro sheet.

Before Visual Basic for Applications, macro instructions were written on
a macro sheet, that looked like a worksheet.
