Default Problems with Zoom feature in Office

I have a user that reports the following problem with office. Not sure if
this is a hardware issue or application. Any help would be appreciated.

"When ever I use my laptop for presentations using the LCD projectors, any
office application I open then zooms to a size of 500%. I then try to resize
it to 100% and then it automatically goes back. I also am unable to open any
of the menus in the office application. This is an issue that even after I
disconnect from the LCD projector, my office applications still behave in the
same manner. The only way for me to get out of this mode is to restart my
computer, which then resets the behavior of the office applications to normal"

I am also having this problem, it started 2 weeks ago and I can't identify
any patch that was loaded prior to this problem that I can associate with it.

Also, the problem will not resolve even when disconnecting the projector,
and until I reboot, it continues to happen. I'm using a Dell Latitude D610
with all of the latest Windows XP and Office 2003 patches and updates.

PLEASE - does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? I can't use my
laptop to project until this is fixed!
