Default Staff Holiday Database

I have been asked to create a database to keep track of staff holidays (and
there details), but they would like a calender onscreen which the person in
question can highlight either a full day or 1/2 day holiday and this gets
auto added to the staffs account (in which calculations are done for a
report)

my question is how easy is this to do, is there a calender control or a
database someone has already created thus far that can help me speed this
creation up for my work.

any help would be nice.

thanks.

Quite a number of people have created calendar forms that you might modify
(and are very easy to use); the calendar control itself has no provision for
selecting a half-day and you cannot modify it.

http://groups.google.com and search the archives of this newsgroup and
comp.databases.ms-access for "calendar form" should give you a lot of hits.
