Can Visio Standard 2003 be upgraded to the professional version?
If I purchase Visio Standard now can this program be upgraded to the
Professional version later?

AFAIK there isn't a mechanism to do that.

Currently the only way upgrade from std to pro is to return std for a refund
and then buy pro. This is of course subject to how long you have std. John...
