Default Normal.doc template problem

some how I put a file name on my "Normal.doc" template..

how can I remove it, and just have a blank space, so that when I go to save
a doc I don't ALWAYS have to remove the (wrong) file name ???

thanks...

Default Normal.doc template problem

The default filename comes from one of two places:

1. If Normal.dot (or any other document template) has text in the Title file
property, this will be suggested.

2. Failing that, the first few words of the document (up to the first
paragraph break or punctuation mark) will be suggested.

It sounds as if the problem is (1). You'll need to edit Normal.dot to delete
this from File | Properties. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm for more help.
