Report not saving

This is a problem I have never run into before and I really need help
figuring it out. I am creating a report (without the wizard) and when I try
to save it, it does nothing! It acts like it's doing something, but it does
not save the report. I have checked permissions and everything there is in
order. I can create reports if I create a new Db, but on the active Db at my
place of business I cannot save. I do not get an error message. I am
prompted for the new name for the report, but when I change and save nothing
happens. Then when 'X'g out of the Db it asks if I want so save the changes
made to 'Report1', the default name for the report. If I click 'yes' it acts
like it saves, but it doesn't and the Db does not close. Hitting the 'X'
again it will keep asking if I want to save the changes to 'Report1' no
matter how many times I hit yes and change the name! If anyone has an answer
as to how to solve this problem I would be very grateful.

Sounds like your database at work is corrupted. See Tony Toews' site at
