Default Help does not provide help

Office 2007: when help is opened the dialog opens & is blank. Opening the
contents does so, however clicking on a listing will not open it. When Office
2007 was fist installed Help worked properly. I think that perhaps an update
or add-on may have disabled Help. Also, when viewing a demo or course online
at the Office site, if that demo or course wants to provide a hands-on
practice session with my Office program, the program will open, the Help
dialog will open, but the actual instructions will not open in Help.
Thank you very much for any suggestions you may have in this matter.

Default Help does not provide help

I have a similar problem. 2007 Office Help worked fine until an automatic MS
update. Now when I click HELP I get a box stating "Regonfiguring". If I let
this run and then do a re-boot... no change. If I stop the re-boot, I get a
blank help window and then a message stating no help avilable. This occurs
in all MS H&S 2007 Excel, Word and Power Point. I have tried repairs and
even have uninstalled and reinstalled my office application. How can I get
HELP back?

We are also getting an empty help window. Did either of you get a solution?
