Default Visio 2003

Question:

In Visio 2003, I have just "glued" a curved road to a "4-way
crossroad". When the glue was completed, the midpoint selection
handles turned "red". Can someone tell me why this happens or point me
to the answer. Thanks

In this case, 2-D glue is being used because both shapes are 2-D shapes.
Normally 1-D shapes are glued to 2-D shapes. The curved road looks like a
1-D shape but is really a 2-D.
