Default Error message while compacting folders

I am trying to compact all my folder in OE6 and it appears to work up until
the very end when I get the following error message: "This folder is
currently in use by Outlook Express." The only options are "ok" and
"cancel". I am working offline. Not sure what's going on - I never had this
problem before.

Are you compacting manually, or following the compact prompt?

Which folder does it hang on? Grab the blue banner of the error dialog box
and drag it out of the way and you will see.

Close OE, open it again and then do the File, Folders, Compact all
before doing any online activity (and sends or receives). You'll less
likely run into the issue.

I just did it again (I was compacting manually) and this time I didn't get
the error message. You must have fixed it when I wasn't looking! :-)
