Date format in crosstab query
I have a crosstab query where the value crosstab outputs a date. I want it to
output in medium date format but it always gives the general date format. Every time I change the format for the column, save and close the query then open it again the format I specified disappears. Any ideas? |

Is there a reason why you would not adjust the format/display in a form or
report control? -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "Matt" wrote in message ... I have a crosstab query where the value crosstab outputs a date. Good question. I have been using the query as the output rather than a form
or report because I cannot get the latter to adapt to changing number of columns. I had to rebuild the form/report each time the number of columns changed. I thought about writing a macro to create a report each time I ran the query and then delete it when finished viewing. Thoughts? There are some sample crosstab reports at
http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4. The Crosstab.mdb has a solution for dynamic headings. I assume your crosstab column headings are not date/time intervals....? -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "Matt" wrote in message ... Good question.
