pro.msi
I use office XP, i downloaded the sp3 for it, when it started installing it,
it asked for the file pro.msi, because it could not be found. I did a search on the computer and it was not found, i also searched on my recovery discs for my computer, but it was not found. I did this because Office XP Professional was installed with the OP. It was an OEM version. But now when excell and Access is loaded it askes for the file but when i click cancel it closes the application. |

Hi,
This file is usually called something like Pro11.msi and tends to reside on the CD or Administrative Installation Point. Are you sure you're using the client version of SP3. Some service packs have two versions - one for client PCs and one for "Administrative" installs. The Admin version will always look for "pro_xx.msi" so it can patch it.
