Default [2007] Org. Chart: change position type to custom shape

In my organizational chart I made some custom shapes in my 'Document
Stencil'. Now I want to change a shape in my chart to one of these custom
shapes. So I right-click on a shape and select 'Change position type'. As
small popup appears with possible new position types.

However, the custom shapes in 'My Document Stencil' do not appear in the
list. It seems that only the shapes in 'Organization Chart Shapes' are in the
list. Is this a bug?

How can change my shape into a new custom shape?

Difficult as the shapes used for the org chart are rather specialized. How similar are
your shapes to the org chart shapes. I don't mean just in appearance, the org chart shapes
are complex groups with special properties.
