Default New Error After XP SP2

Has anyone encountered the following two error messages
after (or before) installing XP SP2? A technet search
only results in two hits, which don't solve the issue.
These errors occur when trying to connect to Hotmail
using Outlook Express. IE and Outlook 2003 (using a
different account) work fine. The messages a

That error usually indicates problems on Hotmail's end, Tim.

You might want to:

IE ToolsInternet OptionsSites type in hotmail.com and Allow cookies.

I sure hope it is on Hotmail's end...but I would think
others would be affected. It seems too coincidental it
just happened when I installed XP SP2. When I go to
Hotmail via IE, all is well. I had already tried adding
hotmail.com to the trusted sites and to allow
cookies...no help.
