Sharing Calendars without Exchange
This is a newbie question. Sorry.
We just installed Outlook 2007 on 2 Vista systems and 2 XP systems. We currently share the calendars via Publish to Internet. However, User1 cannot edit User2's calendar using this method (obviously). We do not have (and do not plan on purchasing) Exchange. We currently have an 5th XP PRO system which simply stores our data files. I have read about using IIS and WebDAV as an Exchange alternative. But all collaborative software is still new to me. So... 1. Will this option allow users to share a single calendar with full edit capabilities and/or make their own, default calendar editable by others? And... 2. Can I install IIS and WebDAV on a basic XP Pro system to be able to handle this task? Thanks in advance, NHAnimator |
