Default Compile error in hidden module: RegistrationDB

I've just installed OfficeXP. I am having a problem with
Excel (2002). Everytime I start or close the program I get
the message "Compile error in hidden module:
RegistrationDB". The caption of the message
says "Microsoft Visual Basic". Does anyone know how to
correct this problem?

Hi Larry,

I believe the behavior you described is documented in the following
Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

291214 XL2002: "Compile Error in Hidden Module: RegistrationDB" Error
Starting Excel
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=291214

The error is typically caused by a copy of the Adobe Acrobat file,
Pdfwrite.xla, in the XLSTART folder, after an upgrade of Microsoft Office or
Excel. Please give the steps in the Resolution section of the article a try
to see if this corrects the behavior.

Hope this helps!

Tom,
Thank you, that cleared up the problem.

I did search the Knowledge Base before posting but came up
empty. I need to improve my search techniques. Thank you
again.
