How do make a text with broken underline
I've seen in a sample template for brochure a text with broken underline, I
was trying to find out how to do it. Maybe someone here knows how, I would be very grateful. |

How do make a text with broken underline
Do you mean a "dotted" line -- or the line under the words only?
In Pub 2000 -- highlight the words you wanted underlined... then go to FORMAT -- FONT and in the Underline drop box -- select either WORD ONLY or the dotted options. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kathryn Groves "franches" wrote in message ... 2000 Pub user here. Thanks for sharing and though I've never used it, a nice
to know function. -- Don, Vancouver, USA ----------------------------------- "Find something you love to do and you'll never have to work a day in your life." How do make a text with broken underline
it's the dotted line under the words only... however, I noticed is that the
sample I saw is the color of the dotted line is different from the color of the font or text. In MS Word document i can set a different color for the underline and the text but in publisher I can't. Anyways, thanks for the reply... if you find a solution for my question please let me know. Thank you very much. "Kate G." wrote: Do you mean a "dotted" line -- or the line under the words only? How do make a text with broken underline
You can manually insert a line, make it dashed and give it any color. You might
have to apply no wrap. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "franches" wrote in message ... it's the dotted line under the words only... however, I noticed is that the sample I saw is the color of the dotted line is different from the color of the font or text.
