Default busy/free label on private appointments

I publish a calendar to a web page. Some appointments and meetings are
private, and I do not publish those. My problem is that when I publish the
calendar, label showing the events as "Free" or "Busy" show up on the
calendar. This did not happen with Office 2000, but started with the Office
2002 upgrade. How can I get rid of the labels?

I forgot to clarify that it is the "private" appointments that I have the
problem with. Public ones do not show the label--they simply show the
appointment info.
