Problems With The Display of "Folder List"
Hi-
I am running Outlook 2003 on Exchange Server 2003 and have developed an odd problem with the display of my folder list. When I first open Outlook the names of my folders are in a smaller font. When I select one of the folders it increases the font slightly so that the end of some of the characters are truncated. For example "Outbox" drops half of the "x." This is the case no matter how far I "stretch" the are where the folders are displayed. It happens to both short and long folder names (but not all of them). This is happening to some, but not all, of my colleagues. If anyone has dealt with this problem- or knows how to modify these display settings, I would really appreciate it. Thanks- Blair |

Do you have the latest video drivers for your card installed? I know it
sounds weird, but sometimes Outlook is very hard on the video display cards and new drivers can solve the otherwise inscrutable problems. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Problems With The Display of "Folder List"
This was a good idea. I think I had the latest drivers but I went ahead and downloaded them again from Dell. This didn't make a difference. I then decided to tinker with the DPI settings. I have a SVGA screen on my laptop therefore I keep the DPI at 125%. I dropped it down to various levels but this didn't solve the problem. It made the text smaller but the end of the characters are still truncated. Though I'm working on a laptop my colleague with the same problem is on a desktop with lower resolution. Any other ideas out there? Is there anyway this can manipulated on the Exchange end?
Thanks Much- Blair ----- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] wrote: ----- Do you have the latest video drivers for your card installed?
