Default Outgoing email formatting Office Prof. 2003

We resently installed Office Prof. 2003 and I am using
xp, my outgoing email messages have big separation
between lines. I have looked in my Tools, options and the
box that says remove extra lines (keep lines together) is
checked. I have word as my text editor, Please help, I
send a lot of business email and this looks very
unprofessional and takes up a lot of space and is hard to
read.

Thanks,
Rebecca

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
